LO2: Synopsis of Storyline

My chosen idea for my comic/graphic novel is Fisker. The idea of Fisker draws from the anti-heroic protagonist concept. I drew particular inspiration from The Batman, John Constantine and Basil: The Great Mouse Detective. As for my graphic novel's layout I have decided to use the same layout as the John Constantine/Hellblazer comics which involves large rectangular patterns adjacent to each other in rows. This will compliment the fast paced action and movement I want to emulate from my graphic novel. The graphic novel will span multiple genres but will particularly focus on supernatural, crime, and action. The storyline will be similar to that of The Batman where during the day his status and jurisdiction can uncover secrets and information for him to use during night time vigilantism. Also similar to Batman Fisker will don a suit and use a alias/codename to protect his identity.

The pages I will have in my comic drop the audience right at the start of the story and into the enigmatic and suspenseful world following a night of work for the by-night Fisker. This includes discussing the criminal underworld and fighting them. We will begin with following a rookie police officer following instructions/directions on a clue and meeting the unknown vigilante side of Fisker. It will be uncovered that these tests/instructions have been set up by Fisker to see if the rookie can be trusted and they have proven that they can. The vigilant disappears and the by-day Fisker introduces himself to the rookie the day after. Enough is revealed to generate excitement and entertainment whilst enough is still left out to garner further interest in the graphic novel/comic.
